• I`m Judy Peavey-Derr. I`m running for District 17 Senate, on the Boise Bench and including the Towne Square Mall and Boise State University. District 17 is in urgent need of change - like many places, we are facing high unemployment, businesses closing and reduced opportunities for our young people.

I have a proven, 25-year track record of working to make Ada County a better place to live, and have served on the Ada County Commission, Ada County Highway District Commission, Greater Boise Auditorium District board and as a community volunteer.

I`m a small business owner, a mom, a real estate broker and I`ve been laid off. I know what it`s like to struggle in this economy and I will have a laser-focus on improving economic conditions.
 • District 17 resident Phil Hansen endorses Judy Peavey-Derr.
 • “I’m a Democrat, but I believe in Judy’s ethics and would certainly vote for her. She is a Republican whom I trust. She’s done so much to make Boise and Ada County a better place to live and promoted many economic development projects, as well as taking a lead in extending the Greenbelt. I believe in her integrity and I have no doubt that she will do the right thing for the greater good. She is a hard-working person who will represent all of us well. I admire her work ethic. I’ve known Judy as a friend, community volunteer and businessperson. A few months ago, she helped me purchase a house and was professional and guided me through the whole process and rules – as a businessperson, she is very customer-focused.”
 • Judy Peavey-Derr knows how to work with neighborhood residents to accomplish school safety projects, Greenbelt extensions and other important missions.
